The right wing parties and academicians in India are, now a days, after Mr Jawaharlal Nehru who was the first prime minister of the country hailed as the architect of modern India. He is portrayed as ‘the first accused’ and the principle reason behind many troubles and debacles the country encountered and currently suffering from.They say that Nehru committed many historic blunders in his 17 year long rule. Ravichandran looks into the major right wing allegations against Nehru in an objective fashion and restores him to the right place he belongs in the political history of India.
